Aesthetic Nursing Policy & Procedures, Inc. wants aestheticnursingpnp.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.
Our Goal
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, on desktop and mobile. This is a goal we test against, not a certification from an outside organization.
What We Have Done
- A “Skip to Main Content” link, labeled menus and visible keyboard focus on links, buttons and cards.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and color contrast checked against our brand colors.
- Form fields with visible labels, required-field notices and clear error messages.
- Pages that resize and reflow on phones and tablets without losing content.
- Video players with visible controls; video never plays with sound automatically.
How We Check
On October 16, 2026 we reviewed the homepage and Manual Builder pages with automated Lighthouse accessibility testing (both scored 100) and manual keyboard checks. Automated tools can’t catch every issue, so we also welcome reports from visitors.
Known Limitations
- Some downloadable PDFs, including older resources, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will send an accessible version on request.
- Third-party tools we link to, such as the Zoom scheduler, Google reviews and the CE course site, have their own accessibility features that we don’t control.
